Privacy Policy Terms of Service

Acceptance

By installing or using ShieldPeek, you agree to these terms.

What the app does

ShieldPeek draws a visual overlay to dim your screen (Privacy Shade) and/or block touch input (Kid Lock). Both features run entirely on your device.

Important limitations — please read

Kid Lock is a convenience feature that reduces accidental touches on the screen. It is not a certified child-safety, parental-control, or security product, and it does not disable hardware buttons such as Back, Home, or Recent Apps, which behave differently across devices and Android versions. Do not rely on Kid Lock as your only safeguard when handing a device to a child — active supervision is still recommended.

Privacy Shade visually dims the screen; it does not encrypt, hide, or protect data at the system level, and cannot prevent a determined viewer from seeing content at a steep enough angle.

No warranty

ShieldPeek is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app — including any consequence of a child accessing a device or app while Kid Lock was active or inactive.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use ShieldPeek on your own devices.

Changes to these terms

We may update the app and these terms over time; continued use means you accept the current version.
